Bad Newz – Is Ananya Panday playing a movie star in Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri starrer? Here’s what we know

A few days ago, filmmaker Karan Johar took to social media and dropped an ama-zing teaser of his upcoming film Bad Newz. He had captioned the post stating, Get ready for the most entertaining hungama - a hilarious once in a billion situation awaits…a comedy inspired by true events!! #BadNewz IN CINEMAS 19th July 2024!’ . The teaser was good enough for the audience to have their expectations set high about the film.

If that expectation was not ‘high’ enough, here comes another scoop, which is bound to add more glitter to the film! As per a source-based news report in Mid Day it has been said that, the film will also star Ananya Panday and that she will be seen playing the role of a movie star. The actress is said to be making a special appearance in the film.

The news further stated that, Ananya will be seen playing an extremely famous film star and that she will be a fun character to watch. As for her track, it’s been said that, her track will be related to that of the Triptii Dimri, who will be seen playing the role of a chef in the film. The report also added that, the said shoot took place last month at a leading five-star hotel in Juhu and the sequence which was shot had Ananya's character arriving at the hotel… only to be thronged by the paparazzi!

As for the film’s plot, a report in the same publication had earlier written about the film to be dealing with a medical condition of ‘Heteropaternal Superfecundation’, where a woman conceives twins from separate men! Looking back, the film Good Newwz dealt with a situation which involves accidental sperm swap and the confusions which arise after that!

As for the film Bad Newz, it is being directed by Anand Tiwari. With the kind of hype that is being built around the film, one does strongly feel that Bad Newz will surely get translated into good news for its makers!
