Mr And Mrs Mahi- Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor starrer to have mini recreation of ‘Say Shava Shava’ from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham?

Ever since the time the Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mr And Mrs Mahi got announced, the film has been making noise and for all the right reasons. Today, the film’s makers took to social media and made the announcement for which many were waiting with bated breath! Yes… you guessed it right… We are indeed talking about the film’s release date. The makers of Mr And Mrs Mahi took to social media today and announced that the film will be releasing on 31st May, 2024.

It seems that, with each passing day, the film’s makers have vowed to wow the cinegoers with something or the film about the film. As per the latest buzz, it has been said that, the film’s m have now recreated the extremely popular track of ‘Say Shava Shava’ from the Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol starrer ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, as per a source based report in Bollywood Hungama.

The report added that, unlike what many may think that one will get to see the full track in the film Mr And Mrs Mahi, the makers have reportedly chosen to just recreate the famous line which goes as ‘Dekha tainu pehli pehli baar vay…’, which will reportedly be played during an important scene between the lead actors viz., Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.

The same report further stated that, as fao as the placement of the track is concerned, it will be played in the background. Whether the film’s makers will be deciding to use the full track or the aforementioned portion of the track is what remains to be seen.

The one common factor which binds both the films Mr And Mrs Mahi and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham happens to be the prolific filmmaker Karan Johar. While he happens to be one of the producers of Mr And Mrs Mahi, he was the director of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. As for Mr And Mrs Mahi, besides Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, it stars Abhishek Banerjee and Rajesh Sharma. The film is being directed by Sharan Sharma, who had made his debut as a director in Bollywood with Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl.
