Ae Watan Mere Watan: Fans shower praises on Sara Ali Khan for her portrayal of Usha Mehta in the film, give her 'a big heart'

    Sara Ali Khan's performance in Prime Video release Ae Watan Mere Watan gathered mixed response from the critics whereas her fans left no stones unturned in praising her act.

    Sara Ali Khan is counted among the most talented actresses in Hindi film industry. She never fails to surprise the audiences by picking a wide variety of roles and ensuring that no two characters portrayed by her fall in the same bracket.

    The actress has given quite a few memorable performances. Her much-awaited film Ae Watan Mere Watan recently released on Amazon Prime Video and her fans were quick to take to social media to praise her performance as the unsung hero in the film.

    The Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actress plays the protagonist - Usha Mehta in the film. She has transformed herself to get into the skin of the character, playing it with sincerity and honesty. Sara became the first-ever young actress from today's generation to portray a real-life character on screen. While the film has received a mixed response upon release, there's no denying the fact that it is an important one to watch in today's times, given the state of the media landscape in the country. 

    While some netizens weren't quite impressed, most of the fans of the actress were quick to praise Sara's act in the film. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), a fan praised Sara Ali Khan's performance and wrote, "#SaraAliKhan won hearts in #AeWatanMereWatan as she essayed the character of an unsung hero with sincerity and gave a career-defining performance."

    Another ardent fan of Sara Ali Khan lauded her performance and reviewed the film writing, "Just completed watching #AeWatanMereWatan @PrimeVideoIN full justice done by sara as Usha and entire cast and crew must watch "

    One of the users went on to highlight the various shades an emotions portrayed by the actress in the film and wrote:

    Last week, Sara dazzled the audiences with her performance as Bambi in the Netflix murder mystery titled Murder Mubarak, which starred Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia among others. The actress stood out amongst the ensemble with her act in Murder Mubarak too. 

    Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in the film Metro in Dino along side Aditya Roy Kapur. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is slated to hit the theatres on September 13.
