Emraan Hashmi reveals his dashing look as Omi bhau in Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film

    Emraan Hashmi's intense avatar has been revealed in Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film, They Call Him OG. This film will mark Emraan's debut in the Telugu cinema.

    Wishing a Happy Birthday to Emraan Hashmi, Bollywood's beloved romantic hero! Celebrating his special day, Hashmi delighted fans by unveiling his debut look as Omi Bhau in the highly anticipated film, They Call Him OG. The actor's shared image went viral online, leaving fans eagerly anticipating further details about the movie. In this film, Emraan will portray the character of a gangster named Omi Bhau.

    The poster shared by the makers showcases Emraan sporting a beard and long hair, along with a noticeable scar on his eyebrow, while lighting a cigarette. The caption reads, “Happy Birthday Omi Bhau." Sharing the poster, the film's producer, DVV Danayya, wrote, “Wishing the deadliest OMI BHAU a happy birthday…@emraanhashmi. Couldn’t envision a clash more electrifying than with #OG #TheyCallHimOG."

    All-Star Cast Assembled

    The film follows the story of a notorious terrorist named Ojas Gambheera, alias OG, who reemerges in Mumbai after a decade-long absence with the mission to eliminate a criminal nexus. Alongside Pawan Kalyan, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Sriya Reddy, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, and other exceptional actors. 

    Sujeeth, known for directing films like Prabhas' Saaho and Adivi Sesh's Run Raj Run, is both writing and directing this highly anticipated project. Thaman S is responsible for the film's music, and it is scheduled to be released in September of this year.

    They Call Him OG will serve as Emraan's introduction to Telugu cinema. The filming of the movie is presently underway. Apart from this, Emraan Hashmi has also agreed to feature in G2, which will be directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. The film is currently in production, while the remaining cast and crew details for the sequel are still under wraps.
