Polish students show keen interest in movies at IFFI

Several Polish students have been involved in the on-going International film festival of India at Panaji, said filmmaker Krzysztof Zanussi. The screenwriter, film producer and author, said, "The younger generation are very creative people and make very creative films." He termed the younger generation of Polish filmmakers as ambitious and serious.

Zanussi has directed movies likeIllumination,The Constant Factor,Imperative,PersonaNonGrata, said that filmmaking is very young, compared to other art disciplines and drastic changes that were and still occurring are affecting filmmaking in ways that were not always positive.

He also complemented Indian cinema, "Indian cinema is faithful to the Indian mentality, culture and aesthetics."
