Naomi Campbell’s plan to organize elephant polo match condemned by PETA

Angry over British supermodel Naomi Campbell’s plan to organize an elephant polo match in Rajasthan for her guests who will attend her boyfriend Vladimir Doronin 50th birthday bash, animal rights organization PETA has said that “an elephant is more intelligent than the ramp queen”. Condemning Naomi’s plan, PETA described her move as ‘appalling’ and expressed shock at how she seems set to exploit ‘India’s national treasure’.

PETA representative Benazir Suraiya told PTI, “Elephant polo is a widely condemned cruel sport which supports the violation of numerous Indian animal protection laws and offends everyone who cares about leaving wild animals in the wild. I have no doubt that she would hire cowboys and put bucking straps on cattle if she put on the party there.” Meanwhile, scores of VIP guests flew down to Rajasthan in twelve chartered planes for the celebrations, according to sources.
