S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: Crown of Blood’s trailer gets dropped on Disney+ Hotstar

    After having delivered two of the mega successful films in the form of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the makers are back again! This time round, the film makers’ next project is in the form of Baahubali: Crown of Blood. Unlike the previous two projects, this one is not a film, but an animated one. It has to be devised in the format of a series.

    The said animated series Baahubali: Crown of Blood has been based on the extremely successful film franchise of Baahubali. Disney Plus Hotstar has today, dropped the trailer of the said animated series. After dropping the trailer, they captioned it stating, ‘Mahishmati ke khoon se likhi ek nayi kahani Hotstar Specials S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: Crown of Blood streaming from 17th May. #BaahubaliOnHotstar’.

    After having dropped the trailer, the makers also tagged the following in the caption ‘@sharadkelkar @thakkarsamay @treasuringvoice @ssrajamouli @kaalabhairava7 @toonsutraofficial @graphicindia @arkamediaworks_official @ranadaggubati @actorprabhas @baahubalimovie’.

    As per a report in Variety website, it has been reported that, the said animated series happens to be a Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks Production and has been created by Rajamouli and Sharad Devarajan. As for the producers of the series are concerned, they are Rajamouli, Devarajan and Shobu Yarlagadda. The entire series has been directed and produced by Jeevan J. Kang and Navin John.

    The said report also stated that the two seasons of animated series “Baahubali: The Lost Legends’, which had been produced by Arka and Graphic India, had been released on Amazon Prime Video in 2017 and 2018. As far as the costing of these projects were concerned, they were made on a total budget of $70 million and collected $370 million globally, the report stated.

    And as far as the series is concerned, SS Rajamouli had been quoted in the report, wherein he said that the world of Baahubali was vast, and that the film franchise was the perfect introduction to the same. He also added that there was so much more to explore, and that’s where ‘Baahubali: Crown of Blood’ comes into the picture.

    As for the streaming date of the series Baahubali: Crown of Blood, it will get streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar from May 17.
