Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has been embroiled in the middle of a controversy after an FIR was filed against him in connection to a rave party case. Yadav was allegedly accused by politician and animal activist Maneka Gandhi of supplying and using snake venom at rave parties. However, his fans have been coming out in full support of him. Now, even Bigg Boss 16 first runner-up Shiv Thakare has defended Elvish in the case.

Talking about the same, in an interaction with Telly Talk India, Shiv said that such controversies tend to surround people when they become famous. He added that he does not feel that these allegations about the Youtuber are true. Shiv went on to add that he had seen Elvish’s videos on social media which did not make him feel that the latter was capable of doing such things. However, he did say that he does not have full knowledge about the case.

Shiv was quoted to say, “Jab aap uunchai par pahuch jaate ho, toh aisi cheezein aati raheti hai. Mujhe lagta hai, yeh sach nahi hai. Elvish ka ek video bhi dekha hai maine. Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Kuch rumours aa raha hai. Jab aap kuch achieve kar lete ho, toh logon ko accha nahi lagta hai. Mujhe poori baat pata nahi hai."

Apart from this, Elvish’s fans have also been trending Stop Defaming Elvish on Twitter. Some are even lashing out at Gandhi for her allegations on the Youtuber. Yadav also took to his social media handle to rubbish his involvement in this fiasco. He also agreed to give his full cooperation in the investigation of the same.

On the work front, Elvish appeared in yesterday's (November 3) episode of Bigg Boss 17. He became the first wild card entry of the show to win a season. On the other hand, Shiv will be seen in the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
