Soon after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 comes to an end, it will only be a matter of days before the start of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. While most teams have already announced their squads for the upcoming ICC tournament, Indian fans are on edge, closely watching the performances of players bound for the USA and West Indies.

Currently, in the clash between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, home team batter Jake Fraser-McGurk got off to the kind of start everyone knows him for. He decimated RR pacer Avesh Khan, one of India's reserves for the World Cup, with a 28-run over. With that over, McGurk slammed a 19-ball half-century.

Although he was dismissed in the next over by R Ashwin, he ensured he laid a solid platform for Delhi for the rest of the batters to follow. Earlier this season, Fraser-McGurk also slammed a 15-ball half-century.
