Sivakarthikeyan reviews Kurangu Pedal: 'This movie is poetic and beautiful...'

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is quite upbeat about his upcoming production venture, Kurangu Pedal. On the eve of the movie's theatrical release, Sivakarthikeyan shared his review of the movie while appealing to audiences to support such honest attempts in filmmaking.

"Kurangu Pedal is a very special film to me. Children's movies that appeal to their senses and imagination have declined. In fact, we can say such movies don't get made any longer. I request all audiences to bring their whole family to watch this film and support it," said Sivakarthikeyan.

In his review, Sivakarthikeyan described Kurangu Pedal as "a perfect summer movie" for families. "This film will be a beautiful memory, and I hope you will also celebrate it with me," he added.

Kurangu Pedal is led by a bunch of fresh talents and is written and directed by Kamalakannan. Sivakarthikeyan claimed that the primary intention of starting his own production banner, Sivakarthikeyan Productions, was to "make beautiful movies and create a platform for good talents."

Sivakarthikeyan gave a glowing review for Kurangu Pedal, claiming that the film offers plenty of laughs while also sparking contemplation.

"This film has many beautiful and poetic elements, and composer Giberan's score adds more energy to the narration. His music captures our state of mind during the summer vacations. He has used the background score to underline poetic moments in the movie. Especially, I loved his score in a particular scene in the second half. It felt like one of Rahman sir's compositions. Ghibran's music is one of the biggest strengths of this film," said Sivakarthikeyan.

Sivakarthikeyan also praised Kamalakannan for his storytelling skills and said, "Hats off to director Kamalakannan for wanting to tell a story like this. This is a genuine effort and will be a milestone in your career."

Based on the trailer, Kurangu Pedal is set in a rural background. It seems to revolve around a bunch of young boys and how they spend their summer vacations, causing a lot of distress to the grown-ups in the village.
