Thug Life: Kamal Haasan's pic with Silambarasan from the sets leaked! Shoot update revealed here

Earlier it was reported that Silambarasan will be part of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film Thug Life. While a brisk shooting schedule is underway in Delhi, photos of the lead actors Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan from the movie sets have been circulating on social media. Eagle-eyed fans, who spotted Silambarasan, are amazed to witness his new transformation for the Mani Ratnam film.

The new viral pic features Silambarasan donning a casual look with a light stubble. The actor is seen wearing black shades and is also seen sporting a medium-length hairstyle. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, on the other hand, is seen donning a white shirt and veshti in the same picture. The new pics have caught the attention of fans who are curious to know what role the actor is playing in the film. As per reports, the actor will be playing the role of Kamal Haasan’s son in the new movie.

New promo of Silambarasan's character from Thug Life dropping soon?

According to the latest reports, the makers of the Kamal Haasan-starrer are planning to drop a promo for Silambarasan's character introduction on May 6. Reports indicate that the team has filmed some important scenes in the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, from where the viral pic of Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan and actress Abhirami had emerged. 

Reports also say that the Delhi schedule will continue until May 12 after which the unit will fly to London to shoot for another big schedule. According to sources, the team is planning to wrap up the entire shooting either by the end of June or the beginning of July. The makers are also eying a 2024 release and pulling all the stops to ensure it.

Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life marks their reunion after 35 years, since their 1987 cult film Nayakan. The movie boasts an all-star cast including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Trisha, Gautham Karthik, Abhirami, Nassar, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vaiyapuri, among others.
