"Ensemble - where the 'E' signifies the excellence each cast member brings to every electrifying episode," remarked Gunn "And as for the letter 'N'... well, let's just say, 'N' stands for no, no freaking way am I going to indulge in this cheesy act of spelling out the word," quipped Odenkirk.

Banks quipped that the awards show couldn't fire them, so "screw 'em," before Cranston deadpanned and noted, "That's the true ensemble spirit." He then proceeded to announce the nominees for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series.

A Legacy of Success and Spinoffs

Banks also inquired about the whereabouts of their co-star Giancarlo Esposito, who portrayed Breaking Bad's antagonist Gus Fring, during the cast's reunion. Following this, Gunn proceeded to reveal the winners of Saturday's award, the cast of HBO's Succession, with Odenkirk passing the statuette to Alan Ruck.

Breaking Bad aired for five seasons on AMC and garnered numerous accolades, including 16 Emmy Awards, in addition to the ensemble cast's 2014 SAG Award win. The show ran from 2008 to 2013. Odenkirk and Banks later starred in the spinoff series Better Call Saul, which included appearances from several original cast members over its six-season run, concluding in 2022.
